All ALS units operate under progressive standing orders, which include advanced airway procedures (paralytics), liberal treatment protocols and a highly developed trauma system. EMT BASIC, INTERMEDIATE, OR FIRST RESPONDER

Bay Cities Ambulance encourages and supports individuals who continue their education to the next level. We accommodate school schedules so that First Responders and EMTs can pursue their education while working work and gain practical experience.

PARAMEDICS –

Paramedics are assigned to ALS ambulances and provide advanced life support services for the citizens of Coos County. Paramedics also perform non-emergency interfacility services in an ALS equipped ambulance.

OREGON EMT CERTIFICATION –

Oregon specifies three levels of EMT certifications. Most NREMT-certified applicants are eligible to receive reciprocity with a provisional certification.
